Introduction
Craft is a word of many meanings coming from the German kraft meaning strength or power. It can also mean skill and ingenuity, especially in the manual arts but today it can also be synonym for art itself. In the 20th century it was used to distinguished fine art in which intellect came into play from craft as a manual technique.
