Ideally interiors need to be coloured according to their occupants’ needs, which are different from one another, so you have to compromise.
You might feel that you want to provide stimulation for the relaxed folk, and restrained colours for the hyper-active, but most, though not all, hyperactive people flourish best in a stimulating environment, and most, though not all, quiet people open out and work happiest in a relaxed environment.
