Occult Colour

The magus, Aleister Crowley used his considerable knowledge of the history of magical practice to construct four magical colour scales, namely the King's Scale, the Queen's Scale, the Emperor's Scale and the Empress's Scale. Colour was part of a holistic process of sympathetic magic and it ranged from the 'superior', that is to say fully saturated hues, to the mixed subtleties.
