Another artist who applied the musical scale to colour for painters was RA Wilson ARCA (Lond). After making a circle out of the spectrum by joining the ends in the area of the purples, he placed over this a rotatind disk with circular holes in the positions of the Tonic, SuperTonic, Mediant, SubDominant, Dominant, SuperDominant and Leading Note. In this way he was also able to point out on his disk, Dyads, Triads, and Heptads. He also gave a chart of his findings, as follows:
